The Labouré Society Included in the Official Directory of the Catholic Church

As of April, 2015, the Labouré Society is recognized by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Subcommittee on Certification for Ecclesial Ministry and Service as professional and competent in its area of specialization (providing financial assistance and spiritual support to men and women who must resolve student loans in order to pursue their vocations to priesthood and/or religious life within the Catholic Church). Accordingly, the Labouré Society will be included in future editions of the Kenedy Directory, the Official Directory of the Catholic Church.

Lay Ecclesial Ministers who have proven that they have the competencies required by specialized certification standards are granted professional certification by their arch/diocese or national organization and their certificate states that they are granted certification under the USCCB approved standards and procedures.

We are extremely grateful to the USCCB for their recognition.
