Labouré Organization Change

Dear Friends,

The Laboure Society has a new Executive Director and a new President of the Board. As of August 19, 2016, David Tompos has taken the helm as our new Executive Director and Bill Bojan will serve as the President of the Board of Directors.  Both men come to Labouré sharing decades of executive leadership in the corporate world and hearts for delivering aspiring future priests sisters and brothers (aspirants) to our beloved Church. Labouré has recently had extensive board review to determine our greatest levels of aspirant impact and financial stewardship.  In light of this review and unanticipated funding shortfalls, Laboure has undergone a restructuring process.  This has resulted in a deeply regrettable reduction in staff, yet Labouré remains a larger, more capable organization than it was in 2015.

Labouré is committed to its mission to train, mentor, provide accountability and oversight to discerning Aspirants while they share their faith and raise funds for Catholic religious vocations through Labouré.  These efforts continue to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars per class in awards granted to eliminate student loans and deliver these same aspirants into formation for the priesthood and religious life.  The Labouré Aspirant program is the only one of its kind in the country and is serving an ever increasing number of men and women who wish to devote their lives to Christ and His Church.  The next Labouré fundraising “boot camp” will be held September 8-11 in Anaheim, CA.

For additional information or any questions about the Labouré program or recent restructuring please email David Tompos or Bill Bojan.

With great gratitude, prayers and support do we recognize the tireless efforts and sacrifices made by our former staff who have built up the Catholic Church with more priests, sisters and brothers.  Please continue to pray for Labouré, the Aspirants in our program, and its former and current staff.

St. Catherine Laboure, pray for us.
